Finding Your Dream Home

There are 18,000 homes on the market at any one time. Here is how you narrow it down to find your dream home:

First stop is get pre qualified or you are wasting time. You need to set your price range first. Have them give you monthly costs for a 30 Year fixed as well as a 10 Year and 5YR ARM

Decide what is most important: Community, schools, commute, quiet st., location, space feature and functions you need.

These two discussions will get you into neighborhoods that fit price and other needs.

Chances are the home you want is not on the market yet. You need to get educated. Target your neighborhoods and set up outbound notices from the MRIS.

Search on the Realtor.com and Zillow.com, go to open houses and have your realtor look at anything that may be in your sweet spot. We do not show homes to clients unless we have seen them our selves. Many homes are over priced or poor condition.

You now know what you can afford and have an education on the markets you are interested in. When one hits, move quick and consult my page on “Winning the Contract
