Team Member Spotlight : Meet Morgan

Morgan Samson is Casey’s daughter and was born and raised in Vienna VA. Growing up, she was very involved in VYI sports playing basketball, softball and soccer. She attended James Madison High School where she was a cheerleader, played lacrosse, and waitressed at the Vienna Inn. After she graduated in 2007, Morgan decided to head down south to the University of Alabama “Roll Tide”. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, and just like her dad, a huge football fan. She finished up her college career at James Madison University, graduating with a degree in communications.

After graduation, Morgan worked as a pharmaceutical sales rep where she was one of the top reps in her company. In December 2012, Morgan was thrown a curve ball when she was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease, Type 1 Diabetes. Instead of being a road block, this has been a driving force for her to succeed and help other people struggling in the community.

In 2013, Morgan decided to transition from pharmaceutical sales to a more demanding sales position in software sales. Morgan worked for 5 years at Nauticon Office Solutions where she was an instrumental part of the company’s #1 sales team. She consistently exceeded her monthly quotas and was recognized by upper management for her dedication and work ethic.
After years of convincing, we were finally lucky enough to coax her away to join the family business and our sellers and buyer are the beneficiaries. From the start Morgan did not disappoint. In her first 2 open houses she sold a $1.75M home and the next week sold a $1.8M home. Her style and professionalism is a perfect final addition to our great team.

Outside of work, Morgan enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her boyfriend, fellow team member Colby Smyth. Together they love to travel, cook, socialize, and take care of their two rescue dogs. Team Member Spotlight : Meet Michelle

Michelle Samson, the team’s Communication’s Manager keeps the communication between our clients, agents, and community flowing! She creates our newsletters, email blasts, and assists with marketing packages for our homes and webpages. She loves being able to work alongside her Uncle Casey Samson, Cousin Kelly Samson, Father Pat Samson, and Brother Billy Samson.

Michelle has called Northern Virginia her home for 26 years! She graduated from Westfield High School in 2010 and played for both the women’s Basketball and Softball teams. She graduated in 2015 from Radford University with a Bachelors in Communication concentrating in Public Relations. While at Radford University, Michelle was an active member of Alpha Phi Omega, a National Community Service Fraternity and loves to give back to her community.

During college, Michelle interned at Collective Architecture in Washington DC, where she fell in love with Marketing and Design. After college, she started her career in IT sales, but soon realized she wanted to bring her talents to the family business. After a year and a half with our team, she has helped us communicate our message to the public and brings a fountain of knowledge and innovative ideas with her.

Outside of the office Michelle enjoys competing her horse, Peau, hiking, rock climbing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She is outgoing and personable which translates to her ability to work well with all of our clients! She burns the midnight oil to make sure each and every client we work with has an amazing experience with our team!
