The Best Coffee Shops in Vienna

Whether you like it hot or iced, there’s no shortage of great coffee shops in Vienna. If you know our team, you know we love our coffee. Here is a list of our favorite coffee shops in Vienna and beyond.

Best Coffee shops in Vienna, Virginia. Coffee Amouri, Magnolia Dessert Bar & Coffee and Maman.

Caffe Amouri
107 Church Street NE, Vienna, VA

A team favorite located on historic Church Street and right across the street from our office. Caffe Amouri has an artisan roastery on site, meaning they roast their own beans, which leads to very fresh coffee. Caffe Amouri prides itself on its community involvement and events held at its location, such as Open Mic Night and Club Night on Fridays. They also feature special seasonal drinks, such as a Maple Ginger Latte, during the fall months. We recommend their cold brew, classic cappuccino, and buying a bag of their in-house roasted coffee beans. Fun tip: You can also find Caffee Amouri’s coffee served at The Virginian!

Magnolia Dessert Bar & Coffee
431 Maple Ave W, Vienna, VA

Located in the heart of downtown Vienna, Magnolia is a bright, welcoming café known for its thoughtfully crafted coffee, beautiful desserts (Instagram worthy!) and cozy neighborhood vibe. Along with quality espresso drinks, Magnolia offers light bites and baked goods that pair perfectly with your coffee, making it an easy go-to whether you’re on the move or lingering awhile. We recommend a classic crepe, honey toast and an afogato.

Simply Social
260 Cendar Lane SE, Vienna, VA
11282 James Swart Cir, Fairfax, VA

Founded in 2018 and located on Cedar Lane near Thoreau Middle School, Simply Social is one of three locations as part of this local franchise, with other brick-and-mortar locations in Fairfax and Reston. Simply Social is especially known for its espresso based drinks, so if you’re in the mood for a flat white or exquisite pour over, Simply Social could be your go to! We recommend a latte and a breakfast sandwich. Bonus tip if you have a dog: They have one of the best pup cups around!

Cafe De Vienna
121 Church Street NW, Vienna, VA

Cafe De Vienna is a bit of the new kid on the block when it comes to coffee in Vienna, as they first opened their doors in 2023. Cafe De Vienna offers a wide selection of yummy, sweet, and savory options to enjoy with your coffee, like croissants, scones, muffins, and more. If the weather is nice, they have a lovely patio to sit and relax on. They also offer free Wi-Fi and plenty of tables and electrical outlets if you’re looking for a place to get some work done while enjoying your coffee. Try their pastries and a pistachio latte.

Lily’s Chocolate and Coffee
175 Maple Avenue E, Vienna, VA

Lily’s specializes in coffee and dessert treats with a wide array of sweet treats to go along with your hot or iced coffee drink. For drinks, they offer a variety of different coffees, including Turkish coffee, lattes, and teas, and more. They also offer Lockma, a Turkish specialty, which are small, deep-fried dough balls that are soaked in a sweet syrup. They are similar to doughnuts or fritters, with a crispy exterior and a soft interior, and are often flavored with different syrups like vanilla, chocolate, hazelnut, etc. We recommend a Lockma with pistachio and hazelnut, Dubai chocolate crepe and a hot chocolate.

Maman
2920 District Ave, Ste 150, Fairfax, VA

Originally from NYC, and now found in the lively Mosaic district, Maman brings its signature French inspired café style to Vienna. They specialize in combining delicious coffee with a charming, bakery forward atmosphere. Known for its beautifully designed space Maman offers espresso drinks, fresh pastries, including one of the best croissants around (maybe thats for another post!), and light fare. It’s a great spot for brunch dates, afternoon coffee breaks, or grabbing something special to go.

Caboose Commons & Caboose Tavern
2918 Eskridge Road, Fairfax, VA (Caboose Commons)
520 Mill Street NE, Vienna, VA (Caboose Tavern)

Both Caboose locations (in Vienna and Fairfax) have become very popular since first opening in 2018. Whether you’re looking for a beer, coffee, breakfast item, tasty pastry, or more, Caboose could be the spot for you. The Vienna location offers a bit more of a cozier vibe off the W&OD trail, while the Fairfax option near Mosaic is a larger spot with a beer garden and a few different levels of seating. The Vienna menu features locally sourced ingredients from local purveyors, such as Amish cheese from Goot Essa (Howard, PA), coffee from Lone Oak Coffee Co. (Winchester, VA), and cider from Lost Boy Cider (Alexandria, VA). At both Caboose locations, coffee lovers can enjoy award-winning, ethically sourced coffee from Lone Oak Coffee Co., a coffee purveyor that Caboose collaborated with to create a specialty blend only available through Caboose.

Why Local Favorites Matter To Our Team

One of the things we love most about working in Vienna and the surrounding Northern Virginia communities is how much the local food scene reflects the people who live here. These coffee spots aren’t just places to drink and eat, they’re where neighbors catch up, kids celebrate after a soccer game, and new residents start to feel like locals. When clients ask us what it’s really like to live in Vienna, this list is often where the conversation starts.

As top Realtors in Vienna, Virginia, we know that lifestyle matters just as much as square footage and school districts. Being able to walk to a favorite café, grab a coffee before work, or enjoy a latte with friends over brunch is part of what makes neighborhoods like Vienna, Oakton, and Falls Church so desirable. These everyday conveniences play a big role in long term home value and quality of life, something we consider carefully when helping buyers find the right home or advising sellers on how to position their property.

Our team spends a lot of time touring homes, previewing neighborhoods, and analyzing the Northern Virginia real estate market, but we also make time to support the local businesses that make these communities special. You’ll often find us grabbing coffee near our Church Street office, hosting client meetings over brunch, or recommending our favorite spots to clients relocating to the area.
